Carpenter to construct RF shielding systems - Full time, weekly pay

About the role

Faraday Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team to construct RF (Radio Frequency) shielding systems on various sized construction sites all over Australia and New Zealand.

Based from our factory/office located in Boronia, VIC. 

This is a full-time position with a competitive weekly salary.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate and install custom RF shielding enclosures

• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to construct various shielding solutions

• Perform precision carpentry and basic metal work to meet our high-quality standards

• Collaborate with the Design and Project Management team to ensure shielding solutions meet project requirements

• Maintain a safe, clean and organised site environment

• Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Carpenter

• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, techniques and materials

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, required to coordinate with other trades and customers

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications

• Willing to travel interstate for several weeks at a time

• Willing to submit a Police check and Defence security application as required.
