Qualified Fabricator

• Qualified Fabricator position

• $40-$60 per hour

• 6am-2pm Monday to Friday plus Overtime

Join our prestigious architectural metalworks company, renowned for collaborating with high-end builders in Melbourne. We specialize in crafting premium aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel products, including balustrades, window shrouds, letterboxes, and high-end doors.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated qualified fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding various materials and contribute to the successful execution of high-quality projects that align with our company values.

As a qualified fabricator you will be completing the following duties:

• Reading technical drawings

• Cutting and shaping metal

• Bending and forming

• Welding and joining using TIG & MIG

• Assembly and Installation

• Quality inspection

• Maintenance of equipment

• Collaboration - working closely with engineers, architects and other tradesperson.

• Material handling

• Documentation and reporting

• Safety practices

The ideal candidate:

- Must be an Australian citizen.

- Fully qualified welder with relevant certifications.

- Proven experience in welding aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
