Join a long-established local family business specializing in the manufacture and retail of quality horse floats. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated workshop foreman who enjoys leadership, workshop organization, and being part of a supportive family-owned business


As a Horse Trailer workshop specialist, you'll work on a variety of tasks, from repairs to maintenance, Monday to Friday with weekends off!!

Responsibilities.

  • Managing the daily workflow of 5 technicians

  • Allocating work and monitoring productivity

  • Ensuring workshop efficiency and high-quality workmanship

  • Managing and coordinating all warranty and defect-related activities.

  • Coordinate materials and consumables

  • Assist with workshop planning and job scheduling

  • Maintain safe workshop operations

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in a Workshop Controller or senior workshop roleExperience working within heavy equipment, earthmoving, construction machinery, transport, automotive, agricultural equipment, or industrial service environments.

  • Strong Leadership & Communication skills

  • Maintaining strong communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the warranty process.

  • Strong scheduling and coordination experience.

  • Competent computer skills

  • Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • The ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure.

  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Forklift license

  • Must be able to travel to QLD for upto a fortnight for training under previous management
