MC Truck Driver (Livestock and Grain haulage)

A family operated sheep and cattle property in Western district of Victoria.

If selected, you would be capable of completing the following duties or willing to learn;

• Transport Sheep/ Cattle to and from properties, saleyards, feedlots and abattoirs.

• Transport grain, farm machinery to and from our multiple properties.

• Transport general freight including machinery to and from the property

• Loading and unloading on your own, using; auger, loader forklift and securing load etc..

• Assist with farming activities

• Willing to maintain, clean and service machinery.

• Mechanical knowledge is important.

• Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence is required for this position

Animal Welfare & Biosecurity

• Ensure livestock are handled calmly, utilising low stress stock handling

• Maintain livestock crates and equipment to required welfare standards

• Arrive to work clean and tidy and ensure your workspace (Truck) is also kept clean and tidy
