Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and safety-focused CCTV Operator to join our Bendigo team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced CCTV inspection technology while contributing to critical water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
About the Role
As a CCTV Operator, you will play a vital role in delivering inspection and maintenance services for our clients. You will be responsible for operating CCTV inspection equipment, conducting condition assessments of underground assets, producing accurate reports, and supporting project delivery across a variety of infrastructure projects.
Working closely with our operations team, supervisors, and clients, you will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate CCTV pipeline inspection systems and associated technology
· Conduct inspections of sewer, stormwater, and drainage infrastructure
· Produce accurate inspection reports and asset condition assessments
· Identify defects and provide clear documentation of findings
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements
· Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
· Collaborate with supervisors, project teams, and clients to deliver projects on time and to specification
· Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Essential Requirements
· Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
· White Card (Construction Induction Card)
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
· Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
· Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
Highly Regarded
· Experience operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment
· WSAA CCTV Accreditation
· Experience using WinCan or similar reporting software
· HR or MR Truck Licence
· Drainage, sewer, or water industry experience
· Confined Space Entry ticket
· Experience operating jetting units, hydro excavation equipment, or vacuum trucks
· Knowledge of water, sewer, and stormwater networks
