Interstate MCHC Truck Driver

We are a small interstate transport company situated in Seaford.

We are looking for an experienced MC or HC interstate truck driver, travelling predominantly from Victoria to NSW and Queensland.

We carry a variety of general freight and provide you the opportunity to learn a great deal.

The position will be permanent full time after a 3 month trial.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• You must have an MC or HC Licence. MC preferred. Non-synchro preferred.

• Be able to drive an 18 speed road ranger.

• Transport industry experience is a must and experience in a similar role is desirable.

• Have a good understanding of load restraints, loading & unloading of general freight.

• Knowledge and understanding of Fatigue Manangement regulations.

• Clean driving record.

• Forklift licence.

• Fluent English.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of general freight.

• Weekly interstate trips to NSW and Queensland.

• Drive flat tops and tautliners. Experience with tarping would be an advantage.

• Deal with clients and complete paperwork.

• Be a team player, with a positive, willing to learn attitude.
