Retail Store Manager | Fitzroy

We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Store Manager to lead our smaller footprint store with a big presence, located in one of Melbourne’s most iconic and vibrant inner‑city suburbs.

• Deliver sales, profitability and expense targets in line with budgets and KPIs.
• Manage store GP performance in line with company expectations.
• Execute key business initiatives accurately and on time.
• Drive engagement with Petstock’s loyalty program through team coaching and in‑store execution.
• Execute national promotions and maximise private label sales opportunities.
• Foster a positive safety culture and strong WHS practices.
• Recruit, onboard and develop high‑performing team members.
• Maintain strong stock management and inventory accuracy.
• Keep up to date with pet care, products and services.
• Lead and motivate your team through coaching, learning and development opportunities.
• Support local marketing initiatives and community partnerships.

• Experience in a retail leadership role, or readiness to step up into store management.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build engaged, high‑performing teams.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety practices.
• Commercial and operational business acumen.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic retail environment.
