The Opportunity:The Environment Department offers a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry and community links and partnerships. Courses and programs range from Certificate to Diploma level qualifications, including Environment, Horticulture, Landscape Design Conservation, Landscape Construction, Parks & Gardens, Sports Turf Management and Floristry. Delivery is held at the Glen Waverley campus as well as in the field and on site with our industry partners.
This hands‑on and rewarding role involves designing and delivering training that inspires, using a variety of innovative teaching and assessment methods tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will take the lead in developing learning resources and assessment tools that support excellence in delivery. By building strong connections with industry and key stakeholders, you ensure our programs remain relevant and impactful. Your collaborative approach and commitment to outstanding student support will also see you actively involved in course coordination and departmental initiatives that contribute to the success of both students and the wider faculty.
To be successful, you’ll have:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
