SEVEN SEEDS COFFEE ROASTERS
Operations Manager
Full-Time
Seven Seeds Coffee Roasters is a Melbourne-based specialty coffee group operating
since 2007. We run multiple venues in Melbourne, and a roastery producing coffee
for retail and wholesale customers across Australia and internationally.
This is a new senior role created to provide operational leadership and consistency
across the group. We have strong site-level management in place. We need
someone above that structure who can build the systems, hold the standard, and
make the entire operation move together.
The Role
You will work across all current and future operational sites — reporting directly to the
founders — with responsibility for:
Systems & Standards
-Develop and maintain operational SOPs across venues and production
-Own compliance: food safety, workplace health and safety, licensing
-Manage equipment, facilities, and vendor relationships group wide
-Build practical processes that teams will actually follow
Coordination & Support
-Work across the production and front of house operations
-Support Venue Managers with resources, problem solving, and clear expectations
-Contribute to operational reporting and business planning
-Provide HR guidance & support where needed
What We Need–
-Proven multi-site operations management experience in hospitality or food & beverage
-Genuine understanding of service culture — this is a hospitality business first
-Strong people leadership: clear, direct, and able to hold a standard with respect
-Ability to build practical systems that teams actually use
-Comfortable across both production and front-of-house environments
-Specialty coffee background an advantage
