The Opportunity

Our client is an growing and profitable company, with revenues exceeding $2 billion. They have a strong reputation for being at the forefront of their industry, with a high quality and close knit finance team. 

They are looking for a personable Management Accountant to join their team. This is a broad role, where you will get exposure to management accounting, operations, costing, inventory, and analysis. Ideally you will have prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG or similar industries, though they are wiling to upskill and mentor the right candidate. 

The Challenge

• Co-ordination of the completion of month end including reporting to Group accounting and reporting teams
• Co-ordination of the completion of monthly financial reconciliations including all balance sheet reconciliations together with necessary supporting documentation
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and journal entries are in accordance with the Group policy
• Assist with the monthly/annual/periodic reporting requirements
• Preparing CAPEX and OPEX for site proposals, carry out post implementation reviews as required
• Producing costing and management reports
• Support and engage with the business units commercial/operations teams
• Supporting the resolution of issues with business process knowledge and identifying process improvements
• Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and tasks

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified 
• Manufacturing, FMCG or Agricultural experience is highly desirable
• Demonstrate an understanding of financial accounting principles and analysis tools
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication with various stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills
