Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled SailPoint Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of identity and access management (IAM) solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

You will play a key role in delivering SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and supporting identity lifecycle management processes.

This is a 9-month initial contract with a high likelihood of extensions, based in Melbourne, working in a hybrid environment across consultancy and end client site.

• Design, develop, and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions
• Integrate SailPoint with enterprise and SaaS applications
• Develop and configure custom connectors using SailPoint frameworks and Java
• Build and maintain workflows, rules, and business processes using BeanShell/Java
• Implement and automate Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes
• Configure provisioning, aggregation, and reconciliation across multiple systems
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs and authentication protocols for system integration
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams
• Support testing, deployment, and optimisation of IAM solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

• Proven experience as a SailPoint Developer with strong IdentityIQ (IIQ) expertise
• Strong Java development and SailPoint customisation experience
• Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs
• Hands-on experience with connectors, workflows, and provisioning rules
• Experience with identity lifecycle management (JML processes)
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts and best practices
• Experience working in large, complex environments
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
• Java, BeanShell scripting
• REST / SOAP APIs, JSON, XML
• IAM protocols: LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OIDC
• Database integration (JDBC, SQL)

• Experience working within large consulting or system integration environments
• Exposure to security and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with DevOps / CI/CD practices
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments

• 9-month initial contract with strong extension potential
• Melbourne-based role
