THE ROLE:The role of the Production Worker is to work as a team to produce sports balls of exceptional quality, in the required quantity while meeting production deadlines as advised by the Production Manager. This role is involved in specific parts of the production process, producing superior balls for the game and the consumer.

TASKS:

Use of tools and equipment within the scope of the production process – including such tasks as stitching, stapling, gluing/rolling panels
Machine Setting and operation as required
Ensures product conforms with the customer specifications
Performs basic quality checks on own work and the work of others

Other tasks as reasonably directed by the Production Manager or Leading Hand.

HEALTH & SAFETY:

Adhere to all COVID-Safe Policies and procedures
Take reasonable care of yourself and others in the workplace
Report hazards and incidents in a timely manner as they occur
Comply with all Safe Operating Instructions at each station
Comply with the relevant Health and Safety policies, procedures, and programs as appropriate

Ensure that your working space is always clear of rubbish and debris – working areas should be swept and clear of obstructions that can cause slips or trips.

Agreement Classification Levels

New employees shall start on Level 2 and undertake training in these duties & responsibilities for a period of 3 months.

They will then move to Level 3 until such time that they are determined proficient and competent in all required areas by the Production Manager, thereby they shall move to Level 4. Level 2 is $30 P/H and goes up as you move to the next level.
