Job Description

Farm Foods is a Geelong based food manufacturing business, specialising in valued added meat products. Farm Foods are a 24 hour, 5 days a week operation with occasional Saturday work through peak periods, seeking production line workers and knife hand workers across day and afternoon shifts. Potential vacancies for night shift

• night shift involves cleaning and sanitising the workplace and machinery for the next day's production.

These are casual positions with the opportunity for permanent full-time work down the track. Production Line:

• Day Shift: Between 6-8am start
• Afternoon Shift: Between 2-4pm start

Knife Hand (Meat Stripping & Mincing)

• Day Shift: 4am-12:26pm
• Afternoon Shift: 12:30pm
• 8:56pm

Night Shift (Cleaning & Sanitising)

• 9pm
• 5:30am

Duties may include:

• Perform product handling, including lifting, pushing and pulling
• Loading and weighing tubs of product
• Knife handling
• Complete verification paperwork
• Adhere to quality and OH&S procedures
• Clean and wash down equipment
• Quality check products
• General housekeeping

ABOUT YOU!

• Must be physically fit, experience not necessary as all training is done on the job.
• Ability to follow

Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-medical screening
• Able to work in cold environment (4-8 degrees)
• Reliable and punctual
• Must be available minimum 3 days per week
