Casual Production Operator

About The Role

Max Biocare is seeking Casual Production Operator to join our growing team at our manufacturing facility in Port Melbourne. In this role, you will support the manufacturing of our products, as well as performing quality assurance checks and ensuring proper handling.

We are seeking a highly efficient, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with GMP manufacturing processes will be highly regarded.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inventory management of raw materials and finished products.

• Support stock control, material handling, and warehouse activities.

• Prepare, check, weigh, and stage raw materials and packaging components for production.

• Operating machinery and equipment, including mixers, fillers, and labeler equipment under supervision.

• Packing products into unit cartons and carton shippers.

• Follow GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

• Batch-coding products and performing in-process checks.

• Maintaining cleanliness in the factory and ensuring proper documentation.

• Adhering to all relevant quality, health and safety standards.

• Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

• Assist with general production and quality assurance tasks as required, including lifting and moving materials up to 10kg.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or retail environment is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards

• Excellent communication skills

• A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Ability to work independently with strong initiative.
