About You

• Between 3 and 10 years of experience in Contaminated Land consulting, related industry or government sectors, preferably in Victoria.
• Sound technical report and proposal writing skills.
• Project management experience, or a desire to develop this skill with demonstrated task management experience.
• A comprehensive understanding and application of national and state legislation and guidance, including the Environment Protection Act 2017, Environment Protection Regulations 2021, National Environmental Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure, and the PFAS National Environment Management Plan.
• Data processing skills and a working knowledge of ESDAT, Tablogs / gINT, etc. GIS, leapfrog, and R/python skills would be highly regarded.
• Experience and confidence undertaking fieldwork independently, including supervising subcontractors, test pitting, use of different drilling techniques, groundwater, soil, and vapour sampling.
• Experience or an interest in business development, including proposal writing and client/industry networking.
• Full legal working rights within Australia and a C-class license.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in the area of environmental science or a related field.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Project or Senior Contaminated Land Consultant to support the delivery of complex contaminated land and environmental projects across Victoria. Based in our Melbourne office and at client sites, you will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to plan and execute site investigations, assess contamination risks, and develop practical remediation strategies that achieve strong project outcomes.

In this role, you will also contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence within our contaminated land practice, working alongside senior leaders to identify smarter, more efficient ways to deliver for our clients.
