About the role 

The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting large-scale projects and supporting major customers within the pharmaceutical industry, to deliver life-saving medicines. The role supports project delivery from concept through installation and commissioning, ensuring efficient, high-quality engineering solution.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform project related tasks such as process design, procurement support, construction supervision and commissioning / qualification activities.

• Assisting clients with process & control monitoring/optimisation of processes within a cGMP regulated industry. 

• Contribute to commissioning and qualification activities.

• Collaborate design and commissioning activities between multiple engineering and quality teams

• Participate in internal design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during all phases of assigned projects.

• Liaises and actively engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project's requirements.

• Carry out assigned process-related improvement projects, based on applicable standards, such as S88.

• When working on a client site, supply daily operational support as required to maintain short, and long-term, facility performance and efficiencies at required levels.

• Troubleshoot technical processing issues, investigate failures and incidents to determine the root cause

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with focus on process engineering, pharmaceutical

• environment, or qualification.

• Process engineering experience in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry. 

• Familiarity with design codes and standards.

• Self-motivated with energy and a positive, analytical mindset with high attention to detail and able to find the root cause.

• Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management.

• Good problem solving and time management skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and agendas.

• Ability to maintain performance level and work standards during implementation phases on client sites.

• Proven ability to work as a team player in multi-discipline teams, sharing knowledge and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

• Full work rights in Australia.

The following skills are not necessary, but would be a plus                            

• French and/or German language skills

We recognize the value of your skills and experience. We offer a competitive salary, depending on your profile and experience, plus statutory Superannuation. You will be paid additionally for any time exceeding the contractual full-time hours and for after-hours work (loading's). Discretionary bonus payments are based on company and individual performance.
