Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on mobile crushing equipment.
  • Support shutdowns, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Assemble components using standard work procedures.
  • Operate general hand tools (electric & pneumatic).
  • Tackle breakdowns across various sites, diagnosing issues quickly and getting them resolved.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, rebuilds, and troubleshooting on high‑performing equipment.
  • Fixed plant maintenance – planned and unplanned, including breakdown repairs.
  • Maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, and pumps.
  • Carry out maintenance and servicing of automatic sampling systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company safety policy.
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero‑harm behaviors.
Qualifications
  • Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification (essential).
  • A current and valid manual Australian driver’s licence.
  • Experience operating various cranes within manufacturer limits.
  • Relevant trade qualification with a minimum of three years’ experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade certification.
  • Proven experience as a motor vehicle mechanical fitter or similar.
