Your Care Choice - Home Support Worker & Domestic Support

Located across Latrobe Valley, Wellington, East Gippsland, Bass Coast, South Gippsland and Baw Baw

• Paid kilometres and travel time, travelled between shifts
• Domestic Support (Casual) $31.13 to $32.86 per hour plus 25% casual loading
• Qualified (Casual) $34.59 to $35.97 per hour plus 25% casual loading

Due to ongoing growth and increasing demand across both our Home Care Package (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services, we're looking for more passionate and caring Your Care Choice Home Support Workers to help clients continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide a range of supports including high-quality domestic assistance, meal preparation, unaccompanied shopping, personal care, and respite care. You'll be working directly in clients' homes, with flexible roster arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

To be considered for Domestic Support, you’ll need to have:

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (must be kept up to date throughout your employment)
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Ability to travel within our service delivery area
• Good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Ownership of a registered vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
• Smartphone for work-related communication
• The ability to access and check emails using your own computer
• This position is classified as a Health Care Worker A. Category A & B healthcare workers are required to receive annual influenza vaccinations unless medically exempt.

To be considered for Qualified, you’ll need to have:

• Certificate 3 in Individual Support/Aged Care/ Disability/ Home and Community Support (or equivalent qualification)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (must be kept up to date throughout your employment)
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Ability to travel within our service delivery area
• Good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Ownership of a registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Smartphone for work-related communication
• The ability to access and check emails using your own computer
