The opportunity

Central to their growth agenda is the Corporate Strategy & Development team, responsible for the identification, assessment and execution of acquisition & partnering opportunities for the business. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy, you will take ownership of key workstreams across the full M&A lifecycle, from pipeline origination and transaction assessment through to due diligence, valuation, structuring and integration. Beyond deal execution, the role carries meaningful responsibility for shaping corporate strategy, contributing to market and sector research, and preparing materials for the Executive Leadership Team, Board and investors.

Required skills & experience

The successful candidate will bring the following:

• Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or Engineering
• Minimum three years' experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking or strategy consulting
• Advanced Excel financial modelling capability with experience building and maintaining complex models
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams within compressed transaction timelines
• Strong analytical rigour with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, boardroom-ready recommendations
• Proactive, collaborative approach with sound commercial judgement and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused environment
• Experience in the energy or infrastructure sector is advantageous, as is prior involvement in end-to-end transaction processes
