About the Role

We are currently seeking a caring and reliable Domestic Assistance Support Worker to provide 2 hours weekly support to a client in Beaconsfield 3807, Victoria.

This role involves providing domestic assistance for 2 hours per week in the client’s home. The successful applicant will assist with light household tasks to support the client to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

This position would suit someone who is reliable, respectful, caring, and has experience supporting older people or people who require assistance at home.

Duties May Include
  • General house cleaning
  • Vacuuming and mopping
  • Dusting and wiping surfaces
  • Cleaning bathroom and toilet areas
  • Laundry assistance
  • Light household organisation
  • Reporting any concerns about the client’s wellbeing or home safety to the office
Requirements

The successful applicant must have:

  • Previous experience in domestic assistance, aged care, disability support, or community care
  • A caring, respectful, and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently in a client’s home
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or similar
  • Experience working with older clients in the home care setting
  • Knowledge of infection control and safe cleaning practices
