We're seeking a passionate Support Worker interested in a rewarding career within the support service sector. This vital frontline role will entail supporting our clients, of all ages, in the Peninsula area.
You will be part of a close-knit supportive team and with your initiative and commitment, you will help nurture an environment that encourages the development of daily living, social and recreational skills that maximise independence and assist our clientele to achieve their personal goals and assist to keep their health stable.
Living Right Care specialises in mental health and holistic support.
Essential:
Ability to speak and write clear, fluent English is essential for this role
Reliable vehicle
Some experience in mental health and disability support is required
Trauma-informed
Ability to complete accurate times sheets and progress notes
Willingness to travel and transport clients
Willingness to participate in physical activities. Examples include: swimming, skating and outdoor play
Available during weekdays including after school hours.
Dependable and punctual
Valid Drivers Licence
Qualification:
Cert IV in Mental Health or
Cert IV in Disability or
Studying/Hold a relevant qualification
Studying applicants must be enrolled in either mental health or disability related qualifications
Have or be willing to obtain:
Up-to-date First Aid CPR
Comprehensive car insurance
Current Police Check
NDIS Screening Check
Working with Children Check
