General Manager – Retail & Wholesale

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven and strategic General Manager to lead and scale a multi-brand retail and wholesale division within a dynamic and fast-evolving retail group.

This is a senior leadership role overseeing a true omni-channel business across retail stores, eCommerce, wholesale partnerships, and end-to-end brand and product strategy, with a strong focus on driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and customer experience.

Reporting into the executive leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the business while leading high-performing teams across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall performance and growth strategy across retail, wholesale, and eCommerce channels
  • Drive commercial outcomes with full P&L accountability across multiple brands
  • Develop and execute brand, product, and customer strategies to support long-term business growth
  • Identify opportunities to scale and optimise operations across all channels
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across product, digital, retail, and operations
  • Strengthen key stakeholder, supplier, and partner relationships nationally
  • Deliver operational excellence while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify new growth opportunities and drive innovation across the business
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within retail, wholesale, eCommerce, or multi-channel consumer businesses
  • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility and a demonstrated track record of driving growth
  • Experience leading across retail, wholesale, and digital/eCommerce channels
  • Ability to develop and execute customer, brand, and product strategies
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong operational focus with the ability to execute while maintaining a strategic lens
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
