About The Role

We're looking for a Compliance Officer to support the delivery of effective compliance across our Energy Management & B2B (EM&B2B) activities in ANZ. In this role, you'll help build and maintain a practical and fit‑for‑purpose compliance framework, while contributing to a positive culture of integrity and accountability. Working alongside Legal, Regulatory and Commercial teams, you'll play an important role in ensuring regulatory obligations are understood, managed and embedded into day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key contact for compliance, regulatory and ethical matters across EM&B2B in ANZ
  • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of compliance frameworks and processes
  • Monitor and help manage regulatory obligations across energy and financial markets
  • Contribute to compliance risk reviews and support actions to address identified risks
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide guidance on current products, trading activities and commercial initiatives
  • Assist with compliance training, reporting and engagement with regulators and industry groups
About You
  • Experience in compliance, regulatory, legal, risk or a related area
  • Interest or knowledge of energy markets, trading or financial services
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. AFSL, AML/CTF, AER, AEMO) is helpful
  • Ability to interpret information and apply it in a practical, business‑focused way
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
  • Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders across different functions
  • A relevant qualification in Law, Commerce, Risk, Compliance or similar (or equivalent experience)
