Here’s a unique opportunity to be based from one of our high performing training hubs. In this role you will get the opportunity to partner with the branch leaders and the team to expedite your knowledge.
As part of the Trade Counter team ( known as Branch Staff) at the Port Melbourne Actrol branch, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain essential services, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.
Become a trusted Trade Counter Assistant quickly and have the opportunity to move within the region and support other branches to share your expertise.
Your day-to-day
A typical day will involve:
Providing customer service and information about products
Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
Helping keep the branch tidy and safe
Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives
We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:
Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
Can use a computer and is happy to learn new systems
Wants to develop their career - either locally or within the broader network.
