The Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) is seeking the services of an outstanding ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT to work up to 16.5 hrs per week (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
** The days and hours are negotiable depending on the candidate.
This is a highly valued role within our Housing Co-operative and the successful applicant will be relied on for a variety of organisational tasks.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
*To provide administrative and clerical support to the Manager, other staff and committees by the upkeep of records and documentation using Microsoft and Chintaro (property management database)
*Answer the phone and keep up to date with Member requests or messages left by stakeholders
*Co-ordinate and plan the replacement/repairs of fences which surround the co-op’s managed properties and adjoining neighbours
*Schedule cyclical maintenance in regards to smoke detectors, gas and electrical safety checks and split system servicing
*Data entry of creditors invoices into MYOB
*Deliver a high standard of service to NGRHC Renter-Members
*Assist Manager and other staff members to host events for Renter-Members
*Be willing to participate in ongoing training and advancement.
While some tasks are time sensitive and required to be performed on a regular basis at set intervals, there is the ability in this role to offer a lot of flexibility for the candidate to arrange their own schedule.
