The Role

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers for promotional merchandise products. This role ensures competitive pricing, product quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards while supporting sales and account management teams in delivering innovative promotional solutions to clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Supplier Sourcing & Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and manufacturers.

• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, lead times, service, and reliability.

• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), payment terms, and production schedules.

• Research and identify new suppliers.

Product Sourcing & Development

• Source promotional products that meet client specifications, branding requirements, and budget expectations.

• Coordinate product samples, mock-ups, and prototypes.

• Work with suppliers to customize products, packaging, and branding solutions

Quotation & Cost Management

• Prepare accurate product quotations and cost analyses.

• Seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure products meet quality standards and client requirements.

• Verify compliance with relevant safety regulations, ethical sourcing standards, and sustainability requirements.

• Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  

Qualifications & Experience Required

2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.

Experience in promotional merchandise, branded products, apparel, gifts, or related industries preferred.

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail, proven ability to work well autonomously and be able to work well under pressure.

Mandarin speaking is highly regarded.
