Join a well-established, commercially sophisticated business with a complex group structure and a finance team that operates at a genuinely high standard. This is a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant role sitting within a team of seven, reporting into an experienced Financial Controller and contributing across group reporting, consolidations, and tax compliance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Big 4 / Mid-Tier alumni or technically strong accountant looking to make the move into industry - or for someone already in commerce who brings the technical depth to hit the ground running in a complex environment. The business offers real breadth of exposure across a diversified group, and with a contract-to-permanent structure, there's a genuine long-term opportunity for the right person.

We are looking for an initial 6-month engagement, with an opportunity for the right person to be offered an ongoing permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and review of group financial statements and consolidations
Tax compliance and reporting, including income tax and BAS
Month-end close processes including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support the Financial Controller with statutory reporting and audit deliverables
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
Contribute to process improvement and finance transformation initiatives

About You

CA or CPA qualified
2nd or 3rd mover from Big 4 / Mid-Tier firm
Strong technical knowledge across tax and group consolidations
Experience in a complex, multi-entity or group structure
Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
Immediately available or on a short notice period
