The Skin Boutique Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Skin & Laser Specialist to join our team in Elwood, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver advanced skin treatments and laser therapies to our valued clients. Key responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients

2. Perform laser treatments safely and effectively, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and targeted skin concerns such as pigmentation and vascular lesions

3. Operate and maintain advanced laser and skincare technology in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards

4. Provide professional skincare advice and product recommendations tailored to individual client needs

5. Maintain detailed client records and treatment documentation with meticulous attention to accuracy

6. Ensure all treatments comply with relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations

7. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction

8. Stay current with industry trends, new treatment modalities and continuing professional development

9. Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues in delivering high-quality services

What we're looking for

1. Current certification or qualification in laser therapy and skin treatments from a recognised training provider

2. Proven experience as a Skin & Laser Specialist or in a similar advanced skincare role within a salon or clinical setting

3. Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin conditions and appropriate treatment options

4. Proficiency in operating various laser and light-based devices used in contemporary beauty and skincare treatments

5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatments and build client confidence

6. A commitment to health and safety compliance, including understanding of infection control and contraindications

7. Professional, personable demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding results

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

9. Current First Aid certification is desirable

10. Experience with point-of-sale systems and appointment booking software is advantageous
